GEORGIA
One of the rarest jersey in my collection, Georgian ice hockey national team game worn jersey used by forward Amiran Gepheridze (or Geperidze). The jersey was used in the two very first IIHF sanctioned World Championship events which Georgia have participated. The tournaments are Division 3 World Championship qualification tournament in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for 2013 Division 3 World Championships and 2014 Division 3 World Championships in Luxembourg.
Georgia played against UAE, Greece and Mongolia in the qualification tournament. They arrived to Abu Dhabi with only 15 skaters and 2 goalies. In their opening game Georgia lost to Mongolia 0-6, then lost to Greece 0-13 and finally lost to UAE 1-9. Georgia's goal difference was thus 1-28. Georgia used red jerseys only against UAE. Gepheridze gave assist to Georgia's only goal in the game and in the tournament wearing this jersey. Despite that he was his team's shared last positioned player when it came to +/- rating which was -14.
With 0 points Georgia finished last in the qualifications and didn't earn position to 2013 Division 3 World Championships. Because Greece was decided to be left out along with Ireland from the World Championships after the 2013 tournament because they didn't fulfill IIHF's minimum requirements, those spots were replaced with Georgia and Hong Kong.
Georgia made their Division 3 debute in 2014 tournament against North Korea and they were completely wrecked. North Korea kept scoring from start to finish and Georgia suffered a 1-22 loss. Gepheridze was on the ice during Georgia's lonely goal wearing this jersey but his +/- was despite that -8 in the game.
Georgia had again only 15 skaters and same 2 goalies who played in the qualifications. The goalies were one of the worst I have seen in my life and that was a big reason why Georgia lost their all 5 games with goal differential 3-78. Many of the Georgian players didn't know how to skate nor did they excel in shooting skills. That explains why Gepheridze was his teams top shooter with only 12 shots on goal during the whole tournament. His runner up had only 7 shots on goal.
Georgia got only 40 shots on goal in the whole tournament and they had 4 players who had zero, 0, nada, njet, shots on goal. Gepheridze got 1 assist in the tournament and was the dead last in +/- rating with incredible -30. The best rating for Georgia was "only" -12.
Georgia wore red jerseys against North Korea (L 1-22), Hong Kong (L 0-12) and Bulgaria (L 1-19).
The jersey has plenty of signs of use. The sleeves have some board burns on the sleeves and puck marks here and there on the jersey. The jersey is photomatched to the white board burns on the right sleeve. The nameplate is sewn with individual letters sublimated onto it. All other numbers and crests are sublimated. There is a horizontal mesh stripe under the back number, mesh on both sides and on the underpart of the sleeves all the way to the cuff for better ventilation and it also makes the jersey dry faster.
The jersey was obtained from Georgian ice hockey federation.

This spectacularly nice jersey was worn by goalkeeper Mikhail Fofanov in 2022 Division 2B World Championships in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Fofanov was Georgia's number 1 goalie in the tournament in which Georgia finished 3rd. He played in all 4 games and Georgia wore white jerseys in all of them. His SVS% was 92,6 and GAA 2,54.
The jersey has great amount of wear, even a fight strap. The name plate and fight strap are sewn on, everything else is sublimated. The jersey is made by Tackla. It was acquired directly from the team.
