NEW ZEALAND
This New Zealand national team jersey is the most prestigious jersey in my collection. It's a game worn jersey worn by Kiwi goalkeeper Rick Parry in 2008 Div II World Championships in Newcastle, Australia. Rick made his senior national team debute in the tournament. He was the starting goalie in Ice Blacks' two first games, against Iceland (L 3-6) and Mexico (L 0-2). He wore this jersey in both games. The jersey is also bench worn against the host Australia (L 2-4) and China (L 2-6). New Zealand lost also their final game against Spain 4-5 and were relegated to 2009 Division III. Rick's SVS% was 83,95.
The jersey was recycled to Rick from women's national team goalkeeper who wore the jersey in women's Div IV WC in 2007.
The jersey found it's way to my collection via not the most usual routes. Rick was goaltending for NZ in 2011 Div II WC in Australia. There was also a Finnish referee officiating in the tournament. We made a deal with Rick of the jersey and the referee kindly accepted to bring me the jersey from Down Under.
The nameplate and IIHF 100 years -patch are sewn. All numbers and the front crest are sublimated. The jersey is made by Tackla.

This jersey was worn by Kiwi forward Joshua Hay in 2012 Div II group A World Championships in Reykjavik, Iceland. In 2011 Div II WC in Melbourne, Australia it was worn by forward Ian Wannamaker. He was also the alternate captain for Ice Blacks. They swapped jerseys for the 2012 tournament.
2011 New Zealand wore the black jerseys against Australia (L 0-2) and Mexico (W 5-0). New Zealand also lost to Serbia 6-4 and won Belgium 5-0. North Korea didn't show up and the teams played only 4 games each. New Zealand managed to take quite surprisingly silver medals behind the tournament winner Australia. Wannamaker netted 1 goal and 1 assist in the tournament.
Next year wasn't so much of a success for Kiwis. They missed 12 players from 2011 roster including both goalies. New Zealand used the black jerseys against the host Iceland (L 0-4), Spain (L 0-7) and Croatia (L 12-3). New Zealand lost other games against Estonia 2-19 and Serbia 0-17 and were relegated to Division II group B for 2013.
Joshua scored 2 goals in the tournament and was selected by the coaches the best player of the team. I bought from his brother Andrew the jerseys they both used in the tournament few moments after their final game against Serbia. This is the last jersey left of the 4 jerseys I bought. These were the only senior national team jerseys available for public sales in Europe. There are some older New Zealand jerseys for sale occasionally, but senior national teams, especially the newest ones, are almost impossible to find.
As the jersey is black, it's hard to find wear from it but there are clear burns from the boards and puck marks in the sleeves. The name plate is sewn, all numbers, crests and the IIHF patch are sublimated. There are marks of removed name plate of Wannamaker and 'A' letter on the front. The jersey is made by Tackla.
In June 2014, the jerseys of three brothers Joshua, Andrew and Oliver were inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Canada. In 2014 Division 2B World Championships in Jaca, Spain, it was the first time when three brothers played in senior World Championships. Their jerseys from that tournament will be shown in the HHOF. They became the first New Zealanders to be inducted to HHOF.

This is another New Zealand game worn jersey used by Rick Parry. This was worn in the World Championships Division 2B tournaments between 2015 and 2018. Parry wore this 2015-2017 and in 2018 recycled to their junior national teams.
In 2015 and 2017 New Zealand finished 2nd and in 2016 they finished 4th. In 2017 Parry had the best saves % with 93,3 and he was selected as the best goalkeeper in the tournament. In 2017 New Zealand wore the white jerseys against Mexico and New Zealand won the game 4-2. Parry made 30 saves in the game.
